Arivagara Pavithran Subramaniam

Pavi is a Member of ISO/TC-267 Facility Management (main body) and the Chair of ISO/TC/Y/07-Asset & Facility Management under the Department of Standards Malaysia. He has been involved in the development of ISO41000 Standards Series since 2015 and is one of the authors of the newly published ISO 41001:2018 – Facility Management System Standard. Besides this he was a former committee member in the National Mirror Committee for ISO19011:2018 – Guideline for Auditing Management Systems.
In November 2017, Pavi was appointed as an Ambassador to Malaysia by the European Facility Management Network (EuroFM), an organization that represents all the FM Associations in Europe that is based in the Netherlands. He is also the Founder and Permanent Advisor for Malaysia-Europe Facilities Management Development Initiative (MyEFM) which is the leading FM development program in Malaysia since 2013 and a Committee Member of the Malaysian Association of Facility Management (MAFM).
He is equipped with a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University Institute of European and International Studies (UNIES), Kerkrade, The Netherlands, a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from University Utara Malaysia (UUM) and a Certified in
Business Continuity Planning from the Disaster Recovery Institute (DRI), USA. He is also a certified trainer by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (HRDF: TTT17888). In his career path he has served in the Malaysian Army (Reserve Unit) as an officer from 1997 till 2005 and various
organization in the private sector.
