Muhammad Kassim Olatunde BALOGUN, MKO, he left paid employment in 2008 to focus and grow his enterprise, Domme FM Ltd, established during his stint at Lagos Business School with his partners. He is the GMD of GPFI Group, a multi-award-winning Pan African Real Estate services company. He is an Adjunct lecturer for the Masters in Facilities Management Program at the University of Lagos since 2009 as well as a ProFM Credentials Accredited instructor.
MKO is a recipient of many awards and recognitions from all over the world, including FM Personality of the Year – Africa, 3-time best FM CEO Award Nigeria – Real Estate Awards Nigeria., 2-Time Africa FM CEO Award – Acquisition International UK among others. He has also led the company to receive several awards among which are Best FM Company 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020; European CEO Best FM Company of the Year 2015; Businessday Media Awards 2020 Best FM Company of the Year among others.
On the professional side, MKO is a Fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers, an EDGE Expert, a fellow many other professional bodies, member of the board of trustees of Association of Facilities Management Practitioners Nigeria, a member of the board of African FM, A member of Green Building Council of Nigeria, an EDGE Expert, Member of Institute of Directors Nigeria.
A member of Rotary Club family since 1985, a member of Ikoyi Club 1937, Assist. Secretary of Shooting Stars if Islam 1942; loves travelling, playing squash and table tennis. Married with 5 boys.
