At FMCE, we believe in nurturing the next generation of facilities management professionals, and that’s why we have designed a unique opportunity specifically for students. By partnering with industry leaders, we aim to provide an unparalleled platform for students to enhance their skills, connect with potential employers, and network with fellow FM students and young professionals.
Inspired by the success of EuroFM’s student challenges, we have crafted an exciting format for the FMCE Student FM Experience 2023. Prior to the conference, participating students will have the chance to work on two virtual challenges. These challenges will allow them to apply their knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving abilities to real-world FM scenarios. They will work in teams to develop innovative solutions, utilizing their skills and learning from their peers.
The culmination of the FMCE Student FM Experience will take place at the FMCE Conference in September. Finalist teams will come together to present their solutions live in front of a jury composed of industry experts and professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their ideas, receive feedback from experienced professionals, and gain recognition for their efforts.
During the conference, students will also have the opportunity to attend insightful sessions, panel discussions, and networking events. They will have direct access to industry leaders, potential employers, and fellow students, fostering connections and learning from the experiences of others in the field.

Additionally, the winners of the 2023 Student Challenge will be announced on-site, recognizing their outstanding contributions and innovative solutions. This achievement will not only serve as a testament to their skills but also open doors for future career opportunities in the facilities management industry.

Who Can Participate?
We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated students working on a bachelor’s or master’s degree to participate in the Student Challenge. As a first event only 4 students will be selected for the challenge.
The winning student(s) will have the opportunity to:
- Receive internship opportunity with FM service provider.
- Entrepreneurship mentorship to develop their solution to the market.
- Network and connect with potential employers and FM professionals.
- Meet with other FM students and young professionals.
