Nkaelang Matenge
Mr Nkaelang Matenge has over 31 years’ experience in the building industry and is currently the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Botswana Housing Corporation.
He is a qualified Architect with Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture, Huddersfield School of Architecture, United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Huddersfield School of Architecture, United Kingdom and Master’s Degree in Business Administration for Executives from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business.
He was admitted to the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in 1994 after satisfying the requirements to be a Chartered Architect in the UK. He is also a Member of the Institute of Architects, South Africa and a registered Architect with Architects Registration Council, Botswana.
His key responsibilities include providing leadership in the execution of the Corporation’s strategy in alignment with its Mandate to provide Batswana with decent and affordable housing. He is responsible inter alia, for driving optimal stakeholder engagement, strategy execution and organisational performance as per the direction of the Board and in line overall strategy of the the Ministry of Transport and Public Works.
