I am Jeanette Manana

I work for the South African Reserve Bank as a Divisional Head: Facilities Manager, I have been with the bank for the past 6 years and I have 17 years of experience in the Facilities Management industry.

I currently hold a Masters (MBA) degree and my undergraduate degree is in transport management.

I currently Head the FM Division responsible for Property Management, Facilities Management and Hospitality Services for the South African Reserve Bank.

I am a SAFMA board member holding the Standards Portfolio and have been nominated to serve in the Technical Committee for standards at the South African Bureau of Standards on behalf of SAFMA Board of Directors.

In the past 6 years I have achieved the following:

1. HOD award for delivering a successful and most attended FM week

2. Governors award for managing and responding to Covid-19 for 2021

3. SAFMA 2^nd runner up winner for managing and responding to Covid-19

4. Leadership award for the delivery of 2 strategic projects in 2022.

5. SAFMA award, 1^st position for excellence in FM and the FM of the year was won by my direct reportee.

I am passionate about change and stakeholder management which is very a critical element when dealing with the interested parties when running a Facilities Management System.
